I know that some of you are quietly observing—reading these stories, sitting with the weight of them, and trying to decide what to believe.
If that's you, I want to offer some facts for your consideration:
• I personally know of 70 individuals affiliated with New Tribes Mission / Ethnos360 who have sexually abused children over the past three decades.
• Five of them have raped women.
• Most of these individuals are not on any sex offender registry.
• Many still have unrestricted access to children and women.
• Some remain in respected ministry roles today.
This continued access isn't just negligent—it’s dangerous.
Why does this keep happening?
Because the organization deliberately hides the truth.
When someone is caught, they’re quietly removed. The public, local communities, and even sending churches are rarely told the real reason. Perpetrators are protected. Victims are silenced. Future victims are left exposed.
And it doesn’t stop there.
New Tribes Mission / Ethnos360 consistently refuses to report these crimes to authorities—
Not in the countries where the abuse occurred.
Not when the abusers are sent back to their home countries.
Not ever.
When I raise these concerns, people sometimes respond with:
“Abuse happens everywhere.”
Yes—abuse can happen anywhere.
But not every organization covers it up.
Not every organization chooses to side with the abuser.
Not every organization demands silence from survivors.
Not every organization shows such cold indifference to the safety and dignity of children.
Some say,
“But it’s okay because people are getting saved.”
Let me be very clear:
God does not need your cover-ups.
You can do the right thing and trust Him with the consequences.
But the leadership of this organization has consistently refused to do that.
Every. Single. Time.
I say this as someone who, just a year and a half ago, would have defended the mission.
I wasn’t ready to see it for what it truly is.
But once I started listening to other survivors—once I looked honestly at what I had witnessed myself—I couldn’t keep believing the narrative they worked so hard to protect.
If you’re reading this and wondering what to do next: please keep listening.
Check out Collateral Damage 360.
Don’t just accept the polished answers from leadership.
Be willing to sit with the uncomfortable truth.
Silence protects no one but the abuser.

Sadly, so true 😔
